A warm welcome to The Irthlingborough & Finedon Learning Trust
Our vision is to be ‘Stronger Together for all our Children
Our Multi Academy Trust was established on 1st April 2015 following several years of close collaboration between the schools. We believe we have positioned ourselves to fully embrace the opportunities that are available in the current and ever changing education landscape.
We are committed to ensuring that the children in all of our schools and happy, feel safe and are taught well. When they leave us we want them to have enjoyed their primary school experience and be fully prepared and ready to move into secondary phase of education.
The Irthlingborough and Finedon Learning Trust (IFLT) was formed in April 2015. We are a Multi Academy Trust, and our schools are Irthlingborough Nursery & Infant School, Irthlingborough Junior School, Finedon Infant School and Finedon Mulso CE Junior School, and we are located in East Northamptonshire. The schools have collaborated for many years as the two small towns of Irthlingborough and Finedon are just over a mile apart. The two schools in Finedon were federated in 2011 and, since that time, have been managed by a single Head Teacher and a single governing body.
We believe that we are ‘Stronger Together for all our pupils’. Our aim is to improve standards within our schools, building upon the existing collaboration. Our teams of Teachers, Support Staff, Directors, Governors, Parents and Carers are committed to ensuring that all of our pupils receive the very best educational experience and outcome.
The Trust’s Board of Directors has a very important role in monitoring and supporting the improvement in standards across the Trust. We are supported in this by three local governing bodies who have delegated powers for oversight of their respective schools.
